Does it get any more fun than this? We are SO very proud of Anna. She is a strong, bright young woman who can achieve anything she sets her mind to. Something tells me that on the evening of her graduation, she will build the ULTIMATE ice cream sundae. Of course you have to have cake. Her theme? CALCULUS!!!! How dorky adorable is that?
At the last minute I added two very well received ingredients: smashed brown sugar cinnamon pop-tarts and frosted cheerios. Apparently, frosted cheerios go great on ice cream! who wudda thunk it?
I am getting alot of hits on this post, since so many are planning graduation parties. We used the 3 (I think) gallon tubs that they sell at the grocery store.. all vanilla. Although I prescooped one of the containers thinking that it would make serving them easier, the non-scooped containers actually worked better, since it did not melt as quickly.
Also, I bought the cheap cheap store brand ice cream and it was perfect. No point in spending lots of money on the ice cream. Trust me, you will spend it on the toppings.
Bon Appetit!!
